Landscape Roses - for ground cover, bedding and borders. The varieties listed below are ideal for landscaping purposes. They are all vigorous and low growing, bloom continuously all season in clusters, require little pruning, (most) are virtually disease free, and are reliably winter hardy in USDA zone 5 (maybe 4). They are particularly attractive when used in bedding plantings as they fill the space beautifully with their spreading habit and the abundance of bloom makes a spectacular show. We have noted in the rose description varieties that have a spreading or prostrate (ground hugging) habit and have indicated the foliage & bloom size so you may associate similar varieties. Large foliage can be considered to be about the same size as a Floribunda and small foliage is almost miniature like.
